"Two Birds"
"Two Birds"
Artist: Ronda Olson
Medium: Paper Collage on Board
Dimensions: 13 x 17
About this Artwork: This abstract collage merges textures and colors drawing the viewer into the world of ancient Egypt. Layered earth tones suggest worn surfaces of temple walls, while subtle, geometric shapes echo hieroglyphic symbols. Below, two stylized birds emerge, their forms etched with delicate lines that recall the carvings of pharaohs' tombs. The composition balances abstraction and recognition transporting the viewer from modern space to the sacred, sunlit halls of a civilization long past.
