About this Artwork: I got the inspiration for this painting when I was travelling on vacation to Portugal and got immersed in the tradition of the Portuguese tiles, combined with the inspiration of the beautiful and colorful flowers you can find in California. I've created the design of the tiles, but I wanted to incorporate a natural beauty from where I live now, in California, so the delightful variety of vibrant flowers was the perfect contrast with a splash of colors in organic curvilinear shapes.

About the Artist: Xana Ramos is a Portuguese artist based in Los Angeles’ South Bay. With studies in Jewelry Design, Studio Arts, and a background in Education and Business, she blends structure and creativity in her work. An active member of the South Bay Artist Collective and Artist Open Group, Xana regularly exhibits in local galleries, art fairs, and workshops. Her art reflects gratitude, joy, love, and kindness—values she shares both visually and through teaching.
