About this Artwork: Legendary KATZ'S Delicatessen established 1888 in NYC. I captured this moment on September 9th, 2024. After a long day traveling the subway as a tourist through Lower Manhattan on over to the Lower East Side, we arrived! The vibe was electric, the air was crisp and the people lined up for the iconic pastrami on rye.  This image captures the epic nature of the hype and the reward of arriving at KATZ'S. Katz's gained worldwide fame after being featured in the iconic "I'll have what she's having" scene from the movie When Harry Met Sally.  I must say, truly the best pastrami I've ever eaten!

About the Artist: I have been photo journaling since I owned my first camera in the 90's. Photography was my first love as a creative art form, before even picking up the brush and painting. Widely known as the documentarian in the family, I bring a point of view that captures culture and ordinary life.
