About this Artwork: When I think about traveling, the first thing that comes to mind is a map.  I decided to use that piece of travel memorabilia as part of my collage.   Looking beyond the mountains created by the map is the brilliant sun inviting us to come closer, travel and enjoy.

About the Artist: Donna Bernstein is a lifelong South Bay Resident growing up and still residing in the city of Torrance.   She began her painting journey  during the 2020 Covid Stay-At Home Order.  Seeing the images that have long been hidden in her imagination materialize on the canvas is so exciting.  The process is mesmerizing and the time passes so quickly.  Finding a hobby that provides new opportunities to express herself, and share with others has brought Donna so much joy.
