"Depths of the Sea"

As skateboards are a common site on our local coastline, I tried to capture other coastal scenes on these skateboard decks.  These tropical fish portray the beautiful wildlife we can only imagine beneath the surface of the Sea.

Donna Bernstein is a lifelong South Bay Resident growing up and still residing in the city of Torrance.   She began her painting journey during the 2020 Covid Stay-At Home Order.  Seeing the images that have long been hidden in her imagination materialize on the canvas is so exciting.  The process is mesmerizing and the time passes so quickly.  Finding a hobby that provides new opportunities to express herself, and share with others has brought Donna so much joy.
