The bonsai form, with its quiet grace, allows the beauty of each petal and branch to stand out. Inspired by the way light enhances the beauty of cherry blossoms, I wanted to share that fleeting sense of radiance — a reminder of the simple moments of light and beauty that lift us up.

Former Minnesotan now South Bay resident for 28 years. Previously only an admirer of paintings, I discovered instructional art tutorials on line. Retired, I have time to enjoy my new passion growing and expanding my skill through local art classes. I work in acrylic getting my ideas from travels, nature, & family. Painting connects me with my mother - an artist who passed away much too young. I try to create works that have meaning to me hoping I can touch the viewer as well.
