Artist Statement: Freedom and basic human rights are what people come to America to experience.  Some of us who live here have to be reminded that America is the land where you can be anything if you work hard and spread love and kindness.  The Land, the sea, the enterprising people is what nurtures all of us.  We just have to remember and enjoy the promises of America.

Artist Bio: I paint in several mediums including watercolor, oil, pastel, and oil  My favorite is pastel which allows me to get my fingers right into the painting rather than being separated by a brush.  I love the use of color and I enjoy many different subjects including flowers, landscapes, seascapes, and abstracts.  Lately I have been putting figures into some of my paintings, which adds a new dimension to the craft.  I have been in many art shows over the last several years.
