Artist Statement: The simple daisy signifies innocence, purity and new beginnings and is a symbol of beauty and simplicity of nature. It also represents friendship, loyalty and true love - all characteristics that cumulatively need to be "nurtured" to have a meaningful, wholesome and content life. Often overlooked in lieu of other pressing issues, its important to stop and smell and feel the flower; both physically and symbolically.

Artist Bio: Painting is an inherent genetic skill – self-taught with formal training in oils.  Artistic style transitioning between traditional and contemporary realism.  Unique storytelling specializing in oil paint on canvas.  Taking scenes from “reel” to “real-like” with skillful rendering of impasto and alla prima, inspired by the great masters and the Dutch golden age of painting.
