Artist Statement: Beneath the ocean's surface are coral reefs all over the world.  They are vital to the global environment. They serve as shelter, feeding grounds and breeding habitats for a wide variety of species, including fish, invertebrates and marine mammals. It is all of our responsibility to nurture these beautiful underwater ecosystems.

Artist Bio:  Ronda Olson was born in and still lives in Manhattan Beach, CA.  As a single mom she graduated from Loyola Marymount University while working and raising her son.  She has enjoyed various forms of art (painting, quilting and jewelry making) all her life, but it wasn’t until she retired from aerospace in 2010 that she found the time and freedom to focus on her creativity. Ronda lives with her husband David , enjoys yoga, traveling and her three granddaughters, Kennedy, Callie and Lily.
