As a visual artist with a foundation in design, my work is deeply informed by an appreciation for structure, balance, and intentional disruption. After years of shaping visual narratives in the design world, I found myself increasingly drawn to the expressive freedom of abstract painting—where emotion, color, and form converge without rules. This shift from design to fine art allowed me to explore intuition over precision, spontaneity over structure.
My current body of work centers on vivid, palette knife-driven compositions that celebrate both tension and harmony. Using bold, saturated colors—often layered in energetic, sculptural strokes—I aim to evoke emotion and curiosity while inviting viewers into a state of visual awakening. Each piece is a dialogue between movement and stillness, chaos and control, memory and immediacy.
The desert light and atmosphere of Southern California, particularly Palm Springs where my work is currently exhibited and selling successfully, has greatly influenced my palette. I’m drawn to how color behaves under intense sun, how shadows stretch and collapse, and how architecture and landscape merge in surreal and unexpected ways.
